To allow ContourTrace to communicate through Windows Firewall, Follow the steps given bellow.
Step 1 – Click the start button.
Step 2 – Type firewall in the search box and click on “Windows Defender Firewall”.
Step 3 – Click on “Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall”.
Step 4 – Click on “Change settings”.
Step 5 – If Contourtrace is not visible under the “Allowed apps and features” list, make sure it is installed and click on “Add another app” to add the ContourTrace.exe file from the installed file location.
Step 6 – Select and check “contourtrace” and allow “Private” communication.
If you’re prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. Select the check box next to ContourTrace to allow it.
ContourTrace can now communicate with the Internet.
